1. Are you open year-round in the campground and the Deli/Store?

Yes, we are open year-round, we welcome you to experience Shelter Cove in the winter. Our Store/Deli Hours vary during winter hours, check our website for winter hours.

2. We'd like to visit as a group: how can we arrange our stay?

Please contact us with the desired dates, and number of people, so we can confirm we're able to accommodate your group and help you with the booking process.

3. What is the check-in/check-out procedure?

The check-in time is 1pm. The check-out time is 11am. We have a self-check-in board at the entrance of the RV park; however, should you need assistance, our Deli staff is available to assist you. The Deli is open until 7pm in the winter and until 9pm in the summer.

4. I will be arriving late, how do I check-in?

You can self-check in at our check-in board, located at the entrance to the RV park. If you need assistance, please refer to our posted hours here. We recommend arriving before dark to make check-in easier for you and to minimize disturbance to other guests.

If you arrive after 9:00 PM, please note that our gate closes at that time out of consideration for everyone's stay. Late arrivals will need to park in the overflow area until the gate reopens. If you have a reservation and arrive after the deli is closed, simply follow the self-check-in instructions included in your welcome email. If you anticipate a late arrival, please let us know your estimated arrival time when you book.

6.  Can I pitch a tent in an RV site?

You're welcome to rent an RV site just for your tent if you'd like! However, if you've already rented an RV site for your RV, you'll need to reserve an additional site for any tents — unless the tent is just for your children. In that case, no extra site is needed. Each site accommodates up to six people, with a nominal charge for each person beyond four.

In short: tents need their own site, unless it's a small one just for the kids!
